Mahjong is a game with simple yet interesting rules. The objective of the game is to match up tiles with identical or similar patterns. Each player takes turns drawing and discarding tiles until he or she forms a winning hand.
In Mahjong, each player is dealt thirteen tiles, and the game starts with the player to the left of the dealer. They must draw a tile from the drawn wall of tiles. The player then discards a tile, and the next player in clockwise order then picks up the discarded tile. The players will then continue to draw and discard tiles until they form a winning hand.
The majority of Mahjong games are divided into two categories; the ones that require all players to reach at least half of the total number of points, and the ones that require one player to reach the total number of points. The latter is the most popular Mahjong variation, and usually the game played in Cayman Islands.
