Skrill works like an online bank. Users create an account with a security password. That account is then used to store funds and send and receive payments from other Skrill accounts or from outside merchants.
To send payments, users navigate to their Skrill account, add the recipient’s email address, select the currency and amount, and click send. For payments sent to a recipient’s Skrill account, the funds are immediately available. For payments sent to other services, the money is credited in about two to three business days.
Funds can be added to your Skrill account in lots of different ways. You can link it to your credit card or debit card or pay by bank transfer. Alternatively, you can make use of a number of alternative payment method such as CashU or Accept2.
